Sojourn Fine Art grew from decades of making art, collecting it, and building lasting friendships with the people who devote their lives to it.
Where It Began
“There are paintings that furnish a home and those that define it.”
Gábor grew up in Hungary in the 1970s. His grandmother painted quietly in her studio, and the art books in her home introduced him to Frederic Remington. Those images opened a door that never closed.
At eighteen, he studied for three years at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. That foundation developed into a lifelong practice: making paintings, studying them, and learning to recognize poetic beauty in the work of his peers.
Christine brought an equally discerning eye, along with a background in business, marketing, design, and technology. Her instinct for beauty and her gift for bringing people together became essential to the way Sojourn welcomes collectors into an artist’s world.
